When you’re struggling to finish the set and wondering if you loaded the wrong weight
When you’re in ketosis and someone is eating pizza
When your gym buddy goes to another gym
When you leave your bench to find more plates and you see someone unracking it
That look when a newbie tries to correct your form
When the gym employee says you’re deadlifting grunts are disturbing others
The face you make, in between sets, trying to remember when it all went wrong
When you inhale a dessert then look at that label and it says 3 servings
When your gym buddy turns up with lifting gloves
When you’re waiting for work to end and hit the gym but you hear your boss mention the word overtime
When you’ve mentally prepared for leg day and there’s a queue for the squat rack
When it took 6 days to get over stiff legs and you realise today is squats
