Patrick Stewart

Sir Patrick Stewart is an accomplished English actor whose career spans several decades and a variety of genres.

He is perhaps best known for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the science-fiction series “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” a character he played from 1987 to 1994 and reprised in several feature films.

Stewart’s impressive body of work also includes roles in Shakespearean productions, such as “Macbeth” and “Hamlet,” as well as in films like “X-Men” and “Logan.”

He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including several Olivier Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

In addition to his acting work, Stewart is also a prominent voice in social justice causes, including his advocacy for refugees and his support of the #MeToo movement.

He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2010 for his services to drama.
