Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie is an English actor, comedian, musician, and writer, who is best known for his portrayal of the cantankerous yet brilliant doctor Gregory House in the hit medical drama series “House”.

Born on June 11, 1959, in Oxford, Laurie began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1980s as a member of the comedy duo Fry and Laurie, alongside his longtime friend and collaborator Stephen Fry.

He has also appeared in numerous films, including “Sense and Sensibility”, “Stuart Little”, and “Tomorrowland”.

In addition to his acting career, Laurie is also an accomplished musician, having released several albums and toured as a pianist and vocalist.
